This Privacy Policy explains how WebGenAI ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit webgenai.xyz (the "Service"). We are committed to processing as little personal data as possible. Most of our tools run entirely in your browser; the data you input never reaches our servers.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you give us voluntarily

If you contact us via the contact form or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the information you provide (name, email address, message contents). We use this only to respond to you or send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.

1.2 Tool inputs

Inputs to our calculators, converters, and generators (numbers, text, images, files) are processed entirely in your browser. We do not transmit them to our servers and do not store them.

1.3 Automatically-collected information

When you visit the site, our hosting provider and analytics tools may collect standard technical information: IP address (truncated where possible), user agent, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used to monitor uptime, security, and aggregate usage patterns.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies for essential functionality (e.g. saving your dark mode preference) and analytics. Third parties listed below may also place cookies. You can control cookies via your browser settings.

3. Advertising — Google AdSense

WebGenAI displays advertisements served by Google AdSense, a service operated by Google LLC. Google may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page at networkadvertising.org/choices.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we use Google's Consent Management Platform to obtain valid consent before personalized ads are shown.

4. Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization enabled) to understand how visitors use the Service in aggregate. No personally identifiable information is collected through these analytics.

5. Your rights under GDPR (EU/EEA/UK)

If you are located in the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the following rights regarding your personal data: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing. 6. Your rights under CCPA (California)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. 7. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data retention

Contact form messages and newsletter signups are retained for as long as needed to respond or until you unsubscribe. Aggregated analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' default retention settings (currently 14 months).

9. Security

We use HTTPS for all traffic and follow industry-standard security practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

10. International transfers

Our hosting providers and third-party services (Google) may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage.
